With his versatility to uniquely blend all genres from Hip-Hop to EDM to Pop, the veteran artist pushes the boundaries of any event. Coming from Harrisonburg, Virginia, Kenneth Coppola is a DJ with ambitions to perform all over the East Coast. He’s opened for popular touring EDM artists such as Borgeous, Deerock, and Slushi. Outside of the DJ booth, Kenneth has produced his own music, including his latest track, "Body Movin," which is available on streaming platforms. Kenneth can be heard in the Charlottesville college bar circuit playing at Trinity Irish Pub or Boylan Heights."
Andrew Ceacatura, aka Dirty Jerz, is a local house-music DJ and producer. Originally from New Jersey, Dirty Jerz has been a mainstay in the flourishing house music scene in the DMV for over 12 years. Over the years, his style has evolved into an obsession with deep and tech house, and over the last few years, Dirty Jerz has embraced a more melodic and dark sound that mixes in elements of house and techno, emblematic of his maturation as an artist over the last decade. Lately, Dirty Jerz has maintained a monthly residency at The Underground at Clarendon Ballroom as a member of The Kindred Effect music collective. Alongside HiBall's own Pat Premier, Dirty Jerz also maintains a monthly tech house show at Bandito’s in Baltimore. Dirty Jerz is thrilled to return to Big Night DC for the 5th consecutive year and can't imagine a better way to ring in the new year than with high energy sets in both the EDM and Silent Disco rooms!
My stage name is DJ StyleS, I am from the DMV area and have been DJing for a little over a decade now. I would describe my style of music as open format, meaning I can curate vibes for every genre, nationality and background. Although my main focus has been the club scene, DJing the hottest spots in the DMV area, I have recently started dedicating time to weddings, corporate parties and overall private events. I got into the industry at a young age through a DJ program provided by Arlington County, in this program I was given the opportunity to learn a new skill, while also acquiring a great mentor that to this day has guided me through my professional career. Shout out Jeff! He played a key role in the introduction of DJ Styles. I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people, I have learned that the key to helping my clients is making sure there is a clear line of communication and that the ideas they bring, are being done and even exceeded. This helps me with all types of clients, whether that is with wedding clients talking about their first dance. Or giving owners/managers of venues ideas to elevate parties or private events. I am always looking for ways to improve their experiences. I think what sets me apart from others is my ability to absorb new techniques and new information that multiple DJs have encouraged me to pursue. While implementing my own style, I try to think outside the box and make sure to go above and beyond.
Born in La Paz, Bolivia, DJ Antonio Ernesto currently makes his home in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Growing up as the child of a successful radio and turntable DJ, it was no time at all before he followed in his father's footsteps and began mixing his own music. By age 16, Antonio was spinning at parties and events in the greater DC area. He has since enjoyed a tremendous amount of success, deejaying at nightclubs, bars and festivals across the region. DJ Antonio Ernesto's contagious enthusiasm, sense of adventure and true love of music offer something unique to partygoers. Unlike many modern DJs who mix from their laptops, DJ Antonio Ernesto mixes CDs and vinyl straight from the turntables. He has mastered various music genres such as Trance, House, Top 40, Hip Hop, 70's, 80's, 90's and Latin. He also mixes original music that showcases a broad range of beats and rhythms to showcase his unique musical vision. Without a doubt, even the shyest of dancers will find themselves gravitating to the dance floor once DJ Antonio Ernesto hits the turntables. With thousands of logged hours of deejaying experience under his belt and a firm base of fans and supporters, DJ Antonio Ernesto is enjoying a great amount of success in the DC metropolitan area. He is currently spinning at bars, nightclubs, weddings, festivals, private parties and corporate events. DJ Soho dominated the radio airwaves with dance mix-shows on Z104 and HOT 99.5 -- spinning EDM and mainstream club music to the masses in the DMV area for many years. With prior residencies at such iconic DC nightclubs as Platinum, LOVE, 1223, Josephine’s, and Tracks nightclubs, Soho has the deep library of Electro pop, house, techno and hip-hop to keep the party going at full-speed.
Across the Mid-Atlantic, DJ Sway keeps dance floors moving with his ear for great music. As a native to the Washington DC region, Sway's musical tastes are as diverse as the community that he proudly calls home. His sets range anything from Top 40 remixes and House to Latin Dance & Hip-Hop. In his words, "it's all about getting the perfect reaction. There's nothing better than dropping the perfect track at the perfect time to not only watch but feel the joyful excitement of whoever's on your dance floor. It doesn't matter if I'm playing at a nightclub, concert or a high end private event, there's no better 'high' and it never gets old." Sway is no rookie either when it comes to helping crowds have a good time. From his gritty roots as a college DJ over 12 years ago, DJ Sway worked his way up to finally achieve his dream of DJing full-time. He now regularly books shows at many of the DMV's premier venues including Fedex Field, The Fillmore Silver Spring, The Anthem DC, and Power Plant Live, to name a few.
For over ten years, Bobby Hash has stormed through the mid-atlantic leaving an impact on parties. From humble beginnings in the college bar circuit, Hash has taken his talents all over the United States being featured in Miami, Boston, Chicago, Phoenix, Washington D.C., Baltimore, and more. He’s been a featured talent at events such as Firefly Music Festival, ShamrockFest DC, Boston’s Irish Pub Challenge, Big Night DC, Floyd Fest and tours throughout the year as part of NASCAR’s official DJ team. He has opened for touring urban, pop, and country artists, as well as many PRIDE/ RuPaul celebrities. On air, he mans the lead producer duties for WXLK K92 mixshow “Club K92” in Roanoke, VA and is a featured mixshow DJ for the Mixsquad Nation, featured on various stations across the nation. His mixing abilities have been recognized by various DJ record pools and brands such as DJ City, Direct Music Service, Crate Gang, and The Platform.
Upcoming DMV selector, DJ Piece, started out playing records on college radio. He has since shifted to the dancefloor where he seamlessly weaves through genres. With an innate ability to read the crowd and an extensive knowledge of music, he crafts unforgettable sets that blur the lines between genres. His selections range from club proven classics to cutting-edge tracks that pulse with innovation.
Actor and DJ Edward Daniels is the founder of Scorpio Entertainment, celebrating 19 years of live event production from coast-to-coast and returns to Big Night DC for the fifth year. Specializing in all genres of music, Daniels has played over 350 venues and created some of the area's largest pop-up dance party experiences including Nightmare in Navy Yard, Capital Pride's Electric Disco, and the May the 4th Star Wars Day Dance Party! Daniels has been featured on HBO, Netflix, and Showtime!
